The following aviation videos were shot by my wife and I while flying to some of our favorite Southwest USA destinations. Most of the videos were shot from my Bellanca however some were shot from other planes where I was a passenger. We hope you enjoy these general aviation videos almost as much as we enjoyed the flights. Many people have asked me to post videos in Windows format so they don't have to load Real Player. Starting in 2008 I'll upload both formats but the WMV files are about 300% larger.

December 27, 2009 - A couple of people have asked
for a video of landing at Sedona. I was using my new helmet cam but
it must have been bumped because it became a mustache cam.

August 30, 2009 - With four fires burning in
Southern California I couldn't avoid everything. A short video of
overflying the Station Fire.
August 23, 2009 - Another trip to Bakersfield
Municipal's, Harmon's Rocket Shop Cafe and Store. This time I
remembered to plug the audio cable in.
August 22, 2009 - It's just a 25 mile hop to El
Monte airport for lunch at Annia's Kitchen.
June 13, 2009 - Adrienne and I landing on the grass runway at
Columbia (o22). Mike Macosko took this video with a
very old still camera. The memory card is held in with painters
tape! The quality of the video is poor but audio is priceless! Not
sure anyone knew the camera even recorded audio. I had tears in my
eyes I was laughing so hard.
June 5, 2009 - Getting iced up is never fun but when it
happens you still need to fly the plane. Another trip to Grants Pass
Oregon. Funny how three trips in 60 days and three totally different
weather events.

5, 2009 - We had to get a Pop-Up IFR clearance into
Sacramento Executive Airport for fuel and lunch. I have to hand it
to West Coast ATC'ers, they are very easy to work with.
May 25, 2009 - We stopped for lunch at Shelter Cove
California on the way home from Oregon. The has to be the best
looking final approach in California.

Listen to the altimeter setting increase as we approach the high
pressure area. Unfortunately it winds aloft was 90 degrees off
the nose hurting our ground speed both ways.

runway 25 355 days a year. During a Santa Ana Event we land on
runway 7 and it's usually an adventure. Cross winds, wind sheer and

December 3, 2007 - A short video of landing and departing Calexico. Pretty simple but at the end there is a strange call on guard. What's the last thing a pilot hears before the F-15's shoot him down? This video may answer that question. November 30, 2007 - Is this flight really necessary? My annual expires at midnight and the weather forecasters really missed the mark. A flight in IMC to Santa Paula. One small issue, Santa Paula doesn't have an instrument approach.
November 11, 2007 - A VFR flight into Mojave Air and Spaceport. We were given permission to fly though the Edwards AFB restricted airspace. May 13, 2006 - Very short video of DC-3 landing at Corona. I was at the fuel pump and grabbed my camera when I saw 'Rose' on downwind. Rose is based at Corona but currently repainted (stick on labels) and on tour for Turner Classic Movies. 1.5 MB April 27, 2006 - This is the first time the camera was in the plane. I was flying my Bellanca Super Viking from Big Bear to Corona. The weather was MVFR with and overcast layer at 1500. In this video you will see a GPS circle to land approach. When I break out you will see Corona on the nose. 7 MB
