I've always heard the Ding-A-Ling Cafe was worth a stop but never had a reason to go there. Something about the name kind of kept me away too. I made a reason this Saturday when my other trip fizzled out. It's a long haul just for breakfast but I felt like getting some enroute time and Hollister can be flown round trip on Corona gas which is a lot cheaper than NorCal gas. The cafe is on the airport in what appears to be an old WWII building thats been remodeled. There is plenty of seating inside and a 1/2 dozen tables on the patio. We went for a late breakfast and it was surprisingly good. People around us were having burgers and sandwiches for lunch and they looked really good too. One word of caution. The Ding-A-Ling Cafe is NOT open on Sundays.
